In PvP, a Mage is a high-burst, crowd-control-heavy caster class that excels at controlling the battlefield. Frost Mages are especially popular due to their slows, roots, and survivability with Ice Barrier and Ice Block. They deal consistent damage with Frostbolt and Ice Lance procs, while keeping pressure on multiple targets. Arcane Mages offer burst potential through Arcane Power and Presence of Mind combos, while Fire Mages rely on mobility and spreading Ignite damage.
